Screen Grab of Zombie Shot

We like this shot because of the framing. We made sure that the actors aligned with the golden mean. We like the effect created by the fake blood and the eerie feel given by the red contacts. The fact that the blood looks runny and not just dry is also something which we think makes this shot work.

Lighting Design

on this photo we used a fill, key and back light to make all of Dan's body the same brightness. Unfortunately this didn't work so next time we have to make the key light dimmer so his face isn't too bright on one side. Otherwise this would've been perfect for our film before the zombies attack, as it would show that they are normal people in a normal town.
On this photo we used the key light and the back light to make a shadow on one side of Sarah's face, this makes her look mysterious and this is really helpful for us as we are making a horror film as it creates tension and creates an eery atmosphere in the room.

On this photo we used a back light, key light and a fill light. Unfortunately our back light was too bright so it was shining in Dan's eye. Next time we will make it dimmer so it doesn't make one side of his face too bright.
